BMW Car Clubs Indonesia Concludes 2020–2021 One Make Race Season with Closing Ceremony
BMW Car Clubs Indonesia (BMWCCI) successfully wrapped up its 2020–2021 motorsport season with the Closing Ceremony of the BMWCCI One Make Race (OMR) held in Jakarta.
BMW Car Clubs Indonesia (BMWCCI) successfully wrapped up its 2020–2021 motorsport season with the Closing Ceremony of the BMWCCI One Make Race (OMR). Held in Jakarta, the event marked the end of the touring car racing series run at Sentul International Circuit and concluded BMWCCI Motorsport activities for the 2019–2021 term.
As the official BMW Club under BMW Clubs Asia and the BMW Clubs International Council (BCIC) in Germany, BMWCCI continues to promote BMW’s values of dynamism, innovation, and aesthetics. With 31 member clubs and over 3,600 members, it remains the largest BMW club in Asia.
The OMR, launched in 2017, earned BMWCCI the Best BMW Club of the Year 2018 award from BCIC. The 2020–2021 seasons introduced the E30 Open Class, saw new records such as Victor Herryanto’s 1:56.680 lap, and recognized winners including Motorsoul Racing Team and BMWCCI Jakarta Chapter Racing Team (JCRT).
Main sponsor Michelin Indonesia also shared insights on tire technology used in the OMR. The event closed with awards honoring racers, teams, and partners for their contributions to BMWCCI’s motorsport legacy.
