BMW Motorcycle Club Thailand (BMWMCTH) organized the Friendship Ride “Sapa”, a 10-day international touring event taking members across Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam. The route covered more than 2,400 kilometers through scenic landscapes, mountain passes, and cultural landmarks of Northern Indochina.
The convoy began in Nan Province, Thailand, crossing into Laos and continuing through Dien Bien Phu to northern Vietnam. Participants experienced the vibrant mix of nature, culture, and riding challenges that define this iconic cross-border journey.
Throughout the ride, members were supported by professional marshals and a travel photographer who captured memorable moments along the way. The event combined safe riding practice, adventure, and fellowship—strengthening the sense of unity within the BMW Motorrad community.

Day 1: Nan (Thailand) → Oudomxay (Laos) – 200 km
Day 2: Oudomxay → Dien Bien Phu (Vietnam) – 200 km
Day 3: Dien Bien Phu → Sapa – 270 km
Day 4: Sapa City Tour
Day 5: Sapa → Dong Van – 350 km
Day 6: Dong Van → Cao Bang – 210 km
Day 7: Cao Bang → Lang Son – 130 km
Day 8: Lang Son → Ha Long – 170 km
Day 9: Ha Long → Vinh – 380 km
Day 10: Vinh → Cha Lo → Thakhek (Laos) → Nakhon Phanom (Thailand) – 320 km
