Founded in 1979 as BMW Moto Sport Club (Thailand), BMW Motorcycle Club Thailand (BMWMCTH) stands as one of Asiaโs oldest and most respected BMW Motorrad clubs. The club was established by a group of passionate BMW motorcycle owners who shared the same spirit of friendship, open-road adventure, and community contribution.
Club of the Year 2025(BMWMCTH was the first club ever to receive this honor twice)
Since its early days, BMWMCTH has remained true to its founding principles โ promoting safe riding, responsible tourism, and social goodwill. Members regularly organize group rides, charity programs, and cultural exchange events that strengthen both camaraderie among riders and their connection to local communities.
Recognized Worldwide
BMWMCTH is officially recognized by the International Council of BMW Clubs, under BMW AG in Germany, as an Associate Member. This recognition grants the club full international rights and responsibilities, making it part of the global BMW family. Over the years, BMWMCTH has built a strong presence across Asia, maintaining close friendships with clubs in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Cambodia.
In 2017, the club was proudly honored as โClub of the Yearโ, acknowledging its leadership, community service, and consistent contribution to the BMW Motorrad network.
A Community of Over 1,200 Members
Today, BMWMCTH brings together more than 1,200 members from all regions of Thailand, including both Thai nationals and expatriates. The club continues to serve as a hub for motorcycle enthusiasts who share a passion for BMW craftsmanship and the joy of long-distance touring.
Commitment to Society and the Environment
Beyond the thrill of adventure, BMWMCTH places strong emphasis on social responsibility. The club regularly contributes to charitable causes โ from supporting underprivileged communities to donating equipment to public organizations. One of its signature initiatives, โReturn the Forest to Mother with Fatherโs Coffeeโ, provides funding for reforestation through local coffee cultivation, helping villagers preserve natural ecosystems while earning sustainable income.
