The 16th annual Indonesian Bimmerfest (IBF), a pivotal event for all BMW enthusiasts in the country, was successfully held in Bogor. This yearโs event was the result of a dedicated collaboration between the BMWCCI Bogor Chapter, E30 Register, and Classic Register, further expanding the Bimmerfest's national and international recognition.
Preceding the main event, the National Assembly of BMW Car Clubs Indonesia was held, drawing participation from 29 Chapters and 2 Registers nationwide to discuss club direction and strategy.
IBF 2024 offered a comprehensive program catering to all facets of the community. Highlights included various Motorsport activities such as Drift Show, Slalom, and Mini Track sessions. The exhibition areas featured the Car Contest and a dedicated Heritage Car & Motorcycle Display. Additionally, the event facilitated trade and exchange through the popular Biem on Sale area for used BMW vehicles, alongside diverse F&B and multi-product vendors.
Despite a condensed two-month preparation period, the organizing committee upheld its commitment to delivering a high-quality event. As Komjen. Pol. (Purn.) Nanan Soekarna (Chairman of the Classic Register) stated, the spirit of solidarity ensured all logistical challenges were overcome, proving the strength of our community in achieving a meaningful and beneficial event.
The immense support from all chapters, registers, and the broader BMW community underscores the continued significance of the Indonesian Bimmerfest as a national platform.
